BMW aims to continue positive trend at home in Oschersleben.
For the BMW national teams rounds 15 and 16 of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Oschersleben have the same significance as the German Grand Prix has for the BMW Sauber F1 Team. The five drivers travel to their home event held in the "Magdeburger Börde” region with a strong fighting spirit.

Müller still with sights on title.
Jörg Müller has set himself one goal for the season finale of the World Touring Car Championship: the BMW Team Germany driver wants to close the gap in the drivers' championship and win the title. Müller laid the foundations for a successful final surge during the last race weekend at Brands Hatch, where he won the first race and picked up a further five points in the second race.

Priaulx to contest the “Race of Champions” again.
Andy Priaulx is to once again contest the “Race of Champions”, which will be held in December at Wembley Stadium. He is eager for some “pay back” when it comes to seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher.

Jörg Müller celebrates maiden win of the season in Brands Hatch.
Jörg Müller claimed victory in the 13th round of the 2008 FIA World Touring Car Championship. At the "Brands Hatch Circuit", the BMW Team Germany driver won ahead of SEAT's Yvan Muller. Andy Priaulx crossed the line in third for BMW Team UK, scoring his fifth podium finish of the year.

BMW driver Augusto Farfus claims pole position in Brands Hatch.
Augusto Farfus secured pole position in qualifying for round 13 of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. At the "Brands Hatch Circuit" the BMW Team Germany driver set the fastest lap time with 1:32.794 minutes, thus relegating Chevrolet's Alain Menu to second with a gap of just two thousandths of a second.

History and Background - Brands Hatch.
During 2005 season when the World Touring Car Championship made a comeback, Silverstone hosted both British legs of the series. Local hero Andy Priaulx was forced to retire due to tyre damage, with the 33-year-old also being denied victory the following year when Brands Hatch made its debut on the WTCC calendar: he lost the lead after sliding off the track at Paddock Hill in wet conditions.
